This new patient visit focuses on dietary, nutritional, environmental and emotional aspects of health that may contribute to skin conditions. This visit is also for patients with a history of skin cancer or pre-cancers. Visit includes complete body mapping. Recommendations for skin care products and procedures to prevent future problems will be discussed.
Dr. Scheel uses a Lumio light for the entire skin check and the 3G Dermatascope to check and photograph suspicious lesions. Dr. Scheel checks your skin from head to toe for suspicious moles and lesions while her nurse maps all these findings on your mole map that will be referred to in your future yearly exams. Recommendations for skin care products and procedures to prevent future problems will be discussed.
This visit focuses on problematic conditions like acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema (for information on these conditions and more use the Patient Education Library link below) and other skin problems. It does not include a full body exam.
Please bring copies of any skin biopsy results, recent laboratory tests and a list of all products (over-the-counter and prescription) that have been used for the condition to be discussed.
